Accufit is available at Spring & Creekside.
The Lutronic Accufit is a direct muscle activation treatment designed to stretch, build, re-educate, and recover muscles. Accufit is able to address multiple areas in a single 30 minute treatment session, making it the ultimate lunch break workout.
The Accufit uses combined electrical and magnetic stimulation to engage the muscles of the targeted area in four different exercise patterns; twist, hold, grip, and tap. Accufit causes these muscles to contract and develop in much the same way that engaging them at the gym does, except the Accufit does it much more efficiently and much faster.
Since this treatment mimics the dynamic muscle stimulation of real exercise, it can be especially beneficial for those that cannot get to the gym to exercise. Additionally, Accufit can be an excellent complement to weight loss injections, as muscle loss is a common side effect.
Please note that you are not a candidate for this treatment if you have any metal device or implant, or an electronic device like a pacemaker.
Since this treatment is physically stimulating muscles, you will feel the sensation of muscle contractions. The treatment cycles through the four engagements of twist, hold, grip, and tap, and you can expect to feel the different sensation of each engagement. While this treatment is not painful, some have described the “hold” portion of engagement to be somewhat intense, as it is contracting your muscles for an extended period of time.
There is no downtime associated with this treatment at all! You can immediately return to your daily activities. For the days following your treatment, you may feel some soreness similar to post-workout soreness, which should typically resolve in a few days.
An absolute minimum of four treatments is necessary to see results with Accufit, but six sessions is generally recommended. The treatments can be done every few days until the desired results have been achieved.
You may begin to notice results after three or four sessions, but optimal results will usually be observed in the weeks following the sixth treatment. It is also important to realize that the more fat present over the treated muscles, the less obvious the results will be. If you are looking for a specifically toned look, it may be best to treat the outer layer of fat first with body contouring options before using Accufit.
Accufit stimulates and grows muscle much in the way that intense exercise would. Therefore, the results seen from Accufit will last in a similar way that traditionally built muscle will. It is important to increase protein intake and potentially have maintenance treatments with Accufit to keep up results, similar to the way in which someone that lifts weights needs to go to the gym continuously to build and maintain their muscle mass.
A package of four treatments is $1,800, and a package of eight treatments is $3,300. Additional treatments may be added on for an additional cost, but individual treatments by themselves are not available as you are unlikely to see any results from fewer than four treatments.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Be sure to drink plenty of water and wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows the administrator to easily reach the treatment area. When you arrive for your treatment, we will set you up on our InBody machine to establish a baseline for your muscle mass and we will take “before” photos.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
There is no downtime associated with Accufit, but be sure to drink plenty of water. You may feel sore afterwards, but this should resolve in a few days.
