The Clarity II is available at Creekside.
Lutronic’s Clarity II is a state-of-the-art laser that can be used for vascular lesions, pigmented lesions, and skin rejuvenation. This versatile laser can be used for leg veins, rosacea and general redness, nasal veins, angiomas, and bruises, as well as general laser toning for facial rejuvenation and collagen stimulation.
The Clarity II is a dual wavelength versatile laser that targets areas of pigment and vascular lesions. The laser’s heat energy is absorbed by the targeted area, where it breaks down the pigment or collapses the vessel.
The Clarity II laser is equipped with cryocooling to diminish discomfort during treatment. Because of this feature, most people report this treatment to be mildly uncomfortable, but not painful.
There is minimal downtime associated with Clarity II treatments. You may experience some moreate redness or swelling, or a sunburn-like sensation after the treatment, but these symptoms should subside after a couple of days. You should avoid wearing makeup on the treated area for 24 hours, and you should avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours as well.
The number of treatments needed can vary greatly depending on the size of the area, the severity of the condition, and your personal lifestyle. You will see improvement after one session, but as many as three sessions may be needed to see optimal results, particularly with vascular lesions.

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Drink plenty of water before your appointment, and be sure you have discontinued any topical irritants (AHA’s, BHA’s, retinoids) at least three days prior to your treatment. It is vital that you have not experienced prolonged unprotected sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to your treatment, and you should not have used self tanner for at least two weeks prior to your treatment.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
Do not wear makeup or exercise for at least 24 hours after your treatment. Drink plenty of water and avoid unprotected sun exposure. If you need to take a painkiller, you may take Tylenol, but you should avoid NSAIDs in the days following treatment. You may resume your typical skincare schedule after two days, but you should avoid topical irritants until the area has fully healed.
